Our Changamwe facility combines established industrial manufacturing experience with dedicated production, handling, storage and dispatch capabilities.
ECIL manufactures solid and liquid sodium silicate through established industrial processes supported by controlled production, material handling, product finishing, storage and dispatch operations.
The manufacturing site incorporates dedicated production equipment, process-support systems, product handling areas, bulk storage, dry product storage and dispatch infrastructure.

These new interior images complement the process description by showing raw-material handling, utility equipment and liquid-processing sections of the facility.

According to the audit, manufacturing began in 1956 with a small furnace producing roughly 1-3 tonnes per week depending on demand. Over time, furnace capacity, technology and management practices were improved to respond to market requirements.
This gives the website a useful industrial-history narrative: ECIL is presented as a long-standing manufacturing operation with decades of experience in soluble silicates.
